Christmas is coming!!

We have an Advent calendar on our blog. „Open“ a door everyday from today till 24 th of December.

Today we have:

FLORENTINE PEANUT BISCUITS

Florentine Peanut Biscuits
Gericht: Adventskalender 2017, Biscuits and Cookies
Zutaten
  • 180 g sugar
  • 70 g honey
  • 125 g butter
  • 150 g whip cream
  • 175 g unsalted peanuts
  • 175 g flaked almonds
  • 150 g bittersweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
Anleitungen
  1. Put sugar, honey, butter and cream in a pot and warm it. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Chop peanuts roughly.

  3. Add peanuts and almonds to the sugar-honey-cream mixture. Let it simmer for further 5 minutes.

  4. Pour on baking tray (with baking paper) and spread evenly.

  5. Bake in preheated oven at 200° C for 10 minutes.

  6. Leave to cool down (on the backing tray). 

    Melt the chocolate and coconut oil (bain-marie)

  7. Turn the Florentine up side down, coat the smooth side with the melted chocolate. Let cool.

  8. Turn over again and cut in triangular pieces.

Let it snow!!
