Coconut Chocolate Biscuits
Gericht: Adventskalender 2017, Biscuits and Cookies
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 250 g flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 50 g desiccated coconut
  • 70 g brown sugar
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1 egg
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 pinch salt
Top up
  • some milk
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • desiccated coconut to sprinkle
  1. Chop chocolate.

  2. Sieve flour, add butter in pieces and mix. Add rest of ingredients and knead to a dough. (if too dry, add a little milk)

  3. Wrap in a transparent film and cool in the fridge for 30 minutes.

  4. Roll out on a floured surface and cut out in stars forms (for example). Put on a baking tray (with backing paper) and brush with milk.

  5. Bake in preheated oven at 180° C for 14 minutes.

Final touch
  1. Line melted chocolate over biscuits and sprinkle with desiccated coconut.
