Crumble biscuits
Gericht: Adventskalender 2017, Biscuits and Cookies
  • 300 g flour
  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 200 g butter cold
  • 1 Ei
For the crumble
  • 60 g butter
  • 100 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
To spread
  • red current jam
  1. Mix flour, sugar and salt. Add small pieces of cold butter and egg. Knead (not to long) to a shortcrust

  2. Wrap in transparent sheet and place in fridge for one hour.

For crumble
  1. Melt butter and mix with flour and sugar. Use a fork to mix to small crumbles.

  1. Roll shortcrust on a floured surface. Cut out x-mas tree forms and place on baking tray (with baking paper). Spread a bit of jam and coat with crumble.

  2. Bake in preheated oven at 175° C for 11 minutes.

Enjoy crumbling!
